Fischer, Randall
 

Randall Fischer is Lead Developer for the Florida Digital Archive (FDA) at the Florida Center for Library Automation. The FDA is a preservation repository for use by libraries of the public university system of Florida. It uses normalisation and format migration as preservation strategies and ingests 1TB/month. Previously, Fischer's work included development of online secure bidding systems for the Department of Transportation and work in massively parallel computing for machine vision. His research interests include data visualisation and user interface design.

Forster, Horst
 

Horst Forster is Director responsible for digital content and cognitive systems in the European Commission's Directorate General for Information Society and Media. He has held various management positions in the European Commission since 1984, following assignments in the German administration at federal level and work in the computer industry. He holds a degree in Physics from Darmstadt Technical University.

Frick, Rachel
 

Rachel Frick joined the Institute of Museum and Library Services in 2007 and is Senior Programme Officer of National Leadership Grants. Previously, she was Head of Technical and Digital Services at University of Richmond, Virginia. Rachel's work has been in library operations, with a focus on serials, scholarly communications, electronic resources management and digital libraries. She is an MSLS graduate from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Her areas of interest and expertise include digital collection production services, workflow analysis and digital humanities scholarship.
