Tour 1: UNESCO Stroll through the Old Town

Tour 2: Einstein and the time - E = mc2
Einstein’s Theory of Relativity gave us a new way of looking at the world, putting a new perspective on absolute time. Learn about interesting parallels between precise time measurement and Einstein’s definition of time.

Tour 3: Bear Park Bern
Bears have been kept in Bern since 1513. Until 1857 they were in the city itself, then in the bear pit and, from 2009, in the BearPark.

A special visit to CERN has been organised for iPRES 2016 attendees. The visit is limited to 24 people and subject to registration ("first come - first served"). You will need to make your own way to and from CERN and conform to the safety regulations that apply to CERN visits.
