Social programme
iPRES has arranged a social programme for participants who would like to get to know Gttingen and its town history as well as the library's history a little closer.
On Thursday evening at 7:00 pm we will invite you to a dinner at the historic Rathskeller.
After the final discussion on Friday around 6:00 pm we offer three different short guided tours through the exhibition hall of the Pauliner Church, the research library of the historic part of the Gttingen State and University library and the Gttingen Digitization Centre (GDZ), which will all last approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
Afterwards we will be happy to invite you to a wine-tasting in the old library's patio.
A 90 minutes guided tour in English language through the historic part of the city on Saturday morning at 11:00 am will conclude our social programme.
iPRES will be more than happy to welcome you at any of these events and is looking forward to making your stay in Gttingen as pleasant as possible.
