iPRES 2025: Proceedings, Presentations and Recordings Now Available

We are pleased to announce that the complete iPRES 2025 Proceedings are now available in PHAIDRA and Zenodo. Consider them as an appetiser before iPRES 2026, which begins in just a few weeks. 

The complete proceedings book is available in PHAIDRA: https://hdl.handle.net/11353/10.2348908 

As well as the conference submissions, the proceedings book provides a record and overview of iPRES 2025, including messages from the Conference Chairs, information about the hosts, venue, themes and organisation, the conference programme and keynotes, tikanga and karakia, award winners, sponsors, and the social programme.

In Conversation with Storage Providers at iPRES 2025

What we learned by bringing cloud and preservation communities together to discuss portability, sustainability, and shared stewardship of digital heritage.

At iPRES 2025 in Wellington, we tried a small experiment. The previous year’s panel, Digital Preservation in the Cloud?,  focused on the views of libraries, archives and universities grappling with whether and how to use cloud infrastructure for digital preservation. It was both skeptical and optimistic, but undeniably thoughtful. One voice, however, was missing: the people who provide that infrastructure.
