OVERVIEW:

The third in a series of iPRES events, this workshop will build upon the outcomes of the Spanning the Boundaries and Toward International Alignment in Digital Preservation workshops that were held as part of iPRES 2010 and 2011 respectively. The main focus for this workshop will be to review recent efforts to classify, assess, and benchmark digital curation training and education offerings and to identify whether any of these may be suitable for wider use, thereby progressing international and interdisciplinary excellence in the provision of digital curation education and training.
